Benin launches four TCE draws ahead of 31st cross-border lottery

The Benin National Lottery has started a four-draw programme ahead of the TCE event in Niger in November.

Benin.- Benin’s National Lottery (LNB) has launched four draws linked to the 31st Tranche Commune Entente (TCE) cross-border lottery, with the programme kicking off on October 2 ahead of the regional event in Niger. The TCE brings together Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Niger and Togo, with the 31st edition scheduled to take place from November 22 to 29, 2026.

According to a statement published by LNB, the four draws offer stakes starting at FCFA500 (US$0.87), with the possibility of winning up to FCFA20m (US$34,700) in the grand draw.

LNB said some participants will also have the opportunity to travel to Niamey, Niger. The package includes an air ticket, a one-week stay in a luxury hotel and a tourist hike.

Burkina Faso’s national lottery (LONAB) is also running a separate qualification programme, with Faso Loto draws scheduled for October 7, 14, 21 and 28.

The 2026 TCE will feature two prize tracks. The National Harmonised Programme offers prizes ranging from FCFA100,000 (US$174) to FCFA500,000 (US$868), while the Regional Extraordinary Programme has prizes ranging from FCFA2m (US$3,500) to FCFA20m (US$34,700).

Niger is hosting the 31st TCE after Togo hosted the 2025 edition. The launch of the Benin draws adds another national initiative ahead of the November cross-border lottery in Niamey.
