ALGA opens speaker applications for CEOS Forum 2026 in South Africa
The forum provides speakers with an opportunity to present insights to a continental and international audience.
South Africa.- The African Lotteries & Gaming Association (ALGA) has opened applications for speakers interested in participating in the CEOS Forum 2026: The Black Table, scheduled to take place from September 1 to 4, 2026 at the Durban International Convention Centre in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
The announcement comes after the successful inaugural edition of the CEOS Forum, held from September 1 to 4, 2025 at The Leonardo in Sandton, South Africa. The first forum brought together leaders from the gambling and lottery sector across 23 African countries. Discussions focused on regulatory alignment, industry collaboration, and strategies to support economic growth across the continent.
Building on that foundation, ALGA said the 2026 edition will continue to serve as a high-level platform for CEOs, policymakers, regulators, investors, entrepreneurs, academics and innovators. The association is inviting thought leaders, executives, industry experts and professionals to submit proposals to speak at the 2026 forum.
The call is open to people working in areas such as gaming and lotteries, public policy, entrepreneurship, investment, youth empowerment, women’s leadership, innovation and continental development strategies.
According to the organisation, the forum provides speakers with an opportunity to present insights to a continental and international audience, engage with senior decision-makers and contribute to shaping industry direction. It also offers a platform for building partnerships and professional networks across sectors and countries.
ALGA said that a wide range of speaking themes will be available through the official application process. It added that the CEOS Forum has grown into a key industry gathering for dialogue on regulatory issues and market development within Africa’s gaming and lottery sector.
No submission deadline was specified in the announcement, but applications are expected to remain open for at least a month before the event.
