AGE 2026 unveils diverse speaker lineup for Lagos summit

Nigeria.- Organisers of the Africa Gaming Expo (AGE) 2026 have confirmed a broad roster of speakers for the four-day gaming and gambling industry summit scheduled for March 24–27 at Eko Hotels & Suites in Lagos. The event is positioned as a forum for gambling operators, regulators, legal experts and sector executives from across Africa and beyond to discuss policy, compliance and business growth.
The confirmed speaker line-up encompasses senior regulatory officials, association leaders and private-sector executives involved in lotteries, sports betting, gaming compliance and market strategy. Notable participants include regulators such as Erastus Johannes, acting Chief Executive Officer of the Gambling Board of Namibia, who brings experience in governance and policy implementation in the Southern African Development Community region.
Representing the legal and compliance sectors, Adewale Akande, Head of lLegal and Chief Compliance Officer at KC Gaming Networks Ltd (Bet9ja), will discuss regulatory compliance frameworks for gambling operations in Nigeria and the wider region. Yahaya Maikori, Partner at Law Allianz and President of the Esports Federation of Nigeria, will contribute insights on legal intersections within gaming and media.
Industry bodies are also represented. Emmanuel Siisi Quainoo, Acting Commissioner of the Gaming Commission of Ghana, and Mark Pace, President of the International Gaming Standards Association, are among those scheduled to speak on standardisation and regulatory alignment as the continent’s markets develop.
Executives from private enterprises include Peter Mebert, Founder of Mebert Global Launchpad, and Jean Claude Mushimire, Executive Director of the Rwanda Gaming Association, both of whom have experience in regulatory policy, business strategy and international market engagement. Others, such as Bukola Olanrewaju Akinade, Group Head of Sales Division at Winners Golden Group, and Charles Emmanuel Boua Tapé, Director of Operations at the National Lottery of Benin, will add commercial and operational perspectives rooted in Africa’s gambling markets.
The speaker roster underlines AGE’s focus on regulatory frameworks, market expansion and industry governance. Panels and sessions are expected to cover compliance challenges, policy evolution, responsible gaming practices and the implications of emerging technologies on Africa’s gambling ecosystem.
