The sports betting operator Admiral Sportwetten continues to grow sponsorship presence in the Austrian market.

Austria.- Admiral Sportwetten has sealed a sponsorship deal with top-tier team FC Red Bull Salzburg to run until 2023.

The Austrian operator replaces bet-at-home, which became the team’s sports betting partner in 2018. The 15-time national champion is the eighth Austrian Bundesliga club to partner with Admiral Sportwetten. The operator also has agreements with SK Rapid Wien, FK Austria Wien, SK Sturm Graz, LASK, Admira, WAC and SKN St. Pölten.

Jürgen Irsigler, Admiral Sportwetten’s managing director, told Austria’s sportbusiness.at: “It is with great pleasure that we are starting our new partnership with the Austrian series champions FC Red Bull Salzburg.

“From the first discussions, we were very impressed by the enormous professionalism of the club’s structure and how it implements projects creatively and quickly. It makes us proud that Admiral now has a partnership with the country’s most successful national and international club for years.”

He added: “It is without a doubt another clear commitment to Austrian football and clearly underlines our motto to be one of the biggest ‘partners of sport’ in Austria.”

Stephan Reiter, managing director of FC Red Bull Salzburg, said: “Admiral Sportwetten is not only the new Bundesliga competition sponsor, but has also been an official partner of FC Red Bull Salzburg since the start of the season.
