Germany.- The online gambling operator Bwin has extended its sponsorship deals with Germany’s Borussia Dortmund, Union Berlin, FC Cologne, FC St. Pauli and Dynamo Dresden.
It will remain the exclusive sports betting provider for each of the teams over three seasons, from 2021-22 to the end of 2023-24. The deals with the three top-tier Bundesliga clubs were brokered by Sportfive.
The 2021-22 Bundesliga season starts on August 13. The second-tier Bundesliga has already begun.
Bwin’s managing director for digital in Europe, Stephan Heilmann, said: “It is a great honour for us to be able to continue to be a long-term partner of these five clubs; with our sponsorships, we underline the importance of fans and the passion for football.”
Borussia Dortmund managing director Carsten Cramer said: “We would like to thank Bwin for the trust placed in us. We still believe that the two brands are an excellent match.”
