ActiveWin Media to close Kerching and Jackpot Jones
Betfred’s online marketing agency has announced the imminent closure of the online casino brands.
UK.- ActiveWin Media, Betfred’s online marketing agency, has told affiliates that it is closing its Kerching and Jackpot Jones online casino brands from December 2. The agency has sent an email to affiliates instructing them to end campaigns promoting the online casinos.
ActiveWin began operating the brands in 2017 through its Grace Media subsidiary in partnership with Nektan Plc, the casinos’ owner and platform provider. Nektan sold the brands to the agency for £200,000 after it entered administration last year and was suspended from London’s AIM.
Kerching is one of the oldest white label casino brands in the UK. It was launched by Million2-1 Ltd, a white label subsidiary of IGT UK, in 2007. Million2-1 merged with development studio WagerWorks in 2012. Nektan acquired the brand in 2015.
After the two brands’ closure, ActiveWin will no longer have any B2C white-label brands.
Earlier this year, the Gambling Commission suspended Nektan’s B2C remote operating licence over suspected breaches of licence conditions.
