10bet names Eliot Jacob as director of affiliates

Jacob joins 10bet after a year as head of affiliates at Betfred.

Malta.- The Malta-based sportsbook 10bet has named Eliot Jacob as its new director of affiliates. Jacob will join the company from Warrington-based bookmaker Betfred, where he had been head of affiliates and digital partnerships since September. 

Prior to that, he worked at Betfred’s Manchester-based marketing agency ActiveWin Media, also in the affiliates area.

Jacob wrote on LinkedIn: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time [at Betfred] and it has been a huge achievement to have grown the affiliate program each year and I want to say a huge thank you to all my colleagues, affiliates and partners over the years who have made that possible”

Based in St Julian, Malta, the 10bet affiliate team will be attending the iGB Affiliate London conference to be held from April 13 to 14.

Late last year, ActiveWin Media closed its Kerching and Jackpot Jones online casino brands. It had begun operating the brands in 2017 through its Grace Media subsidiary in partnership with Nektan Plc, the casinos’ owner and platform provider.

Nektan sold the brands to the agency for £200,000 after it entered administration last year and was suspended from London’s AIM.
