Monika Zlateva, CT Interactive: “At the end of the day, it is the player who decides what to play”

During SBC Summit Lisbon 2026, Focus Gaming News sat down with Monika Zlateva, Chief Commercial Officer at CT Interactive, to discuss the studio’s move into aggregation, its content strategy and its focus on Latin America.
Zlateva described the shift as “a natural evolution”: CT Interactive is growing into an aggregator that offers not only its in-house content but also games from other providers. The idea, she said, came from the company’s owners and had been on hold for a few years until the time felt right. About a year ago, it began operating as a boutique aggregator, backed by several studios within the group. The group’s B2C brand, which has tested many providers, also helped show what players like and what trends are emerging. A provider, she noted, “cannot deliver everything”. “At the end of the day, it is the player who decides what to play,” she said, which is why the company wants to offer a diverse range of content.
Years of relationships with casinos, knowledge of the market and players, and a robust technology infrastructure give the company an advantage, she argued, even in a saturated market, as operators and players want things to be “fast, easy and simple”.
Her central message was relevance. With heavy and changing regulation, the priority is to offer “relevant content for relevant markets”, and increasingly to customise at player level. CT Interactive covers 27 regulated jurisdictions, and demand varies from crash games to lotto and scratch games, risk games and social casino variations.
On markets, she said Bulgaria is the company’s top market and Europe is strong, while LatAm is in its sights, particularly Peru, Argentina and Buenos Aires Province and city. Zlateva acknowledged that the task is challenging, since many companies have recently become aggregators, but said CT Interactive has local offices in the region and wants to “excel at it”.
