Trust is what wins tier one clients, Jonas Groes, Co-CEO at EveryMatrix, told Focus Gaming News at SBC Summit Lisbon 2026, as he set out how the platform provider approaches partnerships, growth and AI.
Groes said that to win tier one clients, EveryMatrix must “enable and create trust” and keep delivering on what it has agreed in order to become a “must-have”. In markets where the company is already known, he said, this is much easier, because it understands both the regulation and clients’ needs. In new markets, becoming a trusted tier one supplier is “a longer journey”.
He described a division of roles in which operators focus on understanding their clients while EveryMatrix focuses on delivering the platform and verticals: “They focus on what they are good at and we focus on what we are good at.” The company wants strategic conversations with clients about how to use its product in each market, with a feedback loop into product development. “We want the best for our clients so we succeed together,” he said.
Asked about the effect of the company’s growth, Groes said it had made EveryMatrix “more ambitious”, pointing to its 2030 strategy. He credited his brother for continuing to accelerate, and said part of his reason for being at the company is to take the platform it has built and make it even better.
On AI, he said human interaction in partnerships is something he does not think AI can replace, although it will replace much else in products and in how they are developed. “If there’s one thing changing the technology landscape, it’s for sure AI,” he said.
