During the recent SiGMA Central Europe event in Rome, Focus Gaming News sat down with Giorgio Dolce, Sales Manager at Uplatform, an all-in-one 'turnkey' solution provider for igaming.
Dolce introduced Uplatform as a global platform offering comprehensive solutions, highlighting the company's strong growth and client acquisition over the past four to five years. He then discussed Uplatform's expansion strategies within Europe, pinpointing several regions with significant growth potential. "To start off, we're in Italy and yes, there is growth potential in Italy, especially with the new regulations," Dolce said.
Beyond Italy, he also noted promising trends in Eastern Europe, Greece, and Bulgaria. Addressing the regulatory landscape in these markets, Mr Dolce underscored the importance of understanding the established frameworks. He explained, "when it comes to Europe, it's always important to say that these markets are regulated," necessitating that Uplatform's platform be implemented in accordance with local regulations. Specifically for Bulgaria, he confirmed the strength of Uplatform's in-house sportsbook, which "covers a variety, and when saying variety the majority of markets out there."
Uplatform prides itself on its adaptability, with Mr Dolce explaining that they "adapt according to the needs and the specific needs of the markets." He affirmed that they are always ready "to implement and adapt according to the scenario" where required.
Discussing their service offerings, Uplatform provides both white label and turnkey solutions. The key difference lies with the gaming licence: with a turnkey solution, the operator must hold their own licence, whereas with a white label option, Uplatform provides the necessary licence. Mr Dolce clarified that the split between clients opting for either solution is never a fixed 50/50, but rather "it's always a variety," fluctuating between different ratios such as 80/20 or 40/60.
At events like Sigma Central Europe, Uplatform prioritises a personal, client-centric approach. Mr Dolce explained that their goal is not just to sell but to "bring clients to our stand, meet them, hear their story and hear what is their problem or what is their idea." He emphasised the importance of human connection, adding, "you connect on a personal level cause I believe we are all people in the first place," before stressing that "hearing out is very important. Once you hear out, you see where you can help it."
Looking ahead, Mr Dolce revealed that Uplatform has recently launched a new casino aggregation service, focusing on a wide variety of games, and encouraged attendees to visit their stand for more information. He also confirmed that the company has secured "some very good partnerships" recently, signalling continued growth and collaboration.
