Edmond Ghulyan: “With one integration with Relum, you get access to 20‑plus thousand different games”
Shows & conferences - 26 November, 2025
During SiGMA Central Europe 2025, Focus Gaming News had the opportunity to speak with Edmond Ghulyan, CEO at Relum, to discuss the company's performance, competitive strategy, and future plans.
Ghulyan reflected positively on 2025, describing it as "a great year for Realm." The company has significantly expanded collaborations with various providers, thereby increasing its content offerings, whilst simultaneously concentrating on "performance and operational excellence" to cater effectively to a wider audience. He emphasised that Relum's priority as an aggregator is to deliver content to customers as swiftly as possible.
Addressing the increasingly competitive aggregation market, Ghulyan acknowledged that merely boasting about content is insufficient, as "everybody has the content." Relum differentiates itself by focusing on "additional products that we can offer as part of our aggregation." This includes a suite of gamification tools, notably the tournament and bonus engine launched earlier in the year.
Ghulyan elaborated on the tournament engine, explaining it's part of the comprehensive Relum package requiring just "one API integration." This tool empowers operators with the flexibility to run their own tournaments, incorporating games from multiple providers within a single environment. Operators gain full control through Relum's back-office tools, allowing for customisation of front-end implementation, dedicated pages, and even in-game overlay functionality, ensuring tournaments align perfectly with their brand needs.
Regarding evolving game trends, Ghulyan noted that popularity "really depends on the market," and no single game type, such as crash, lottery, or live dealer, singularly dominates. He highlighted interest in new game types, citing those recently launched by Deluxes, a Digitain group company.
Beyond content, Relum's competitive edge lies in offering "less transactional cost for our operators," which translates into superior speed and performance. Ghulyan stressed the importance of providing "what else you can offer extra on top of what you have," referring to the added value of their tools and a standalone back office with detailed reporting capabilities.
Looking ahead, Ghulyan confirmed Relum's aggressive expansion strategy, particularly across Europe and Latin America. As part of the larger Digitain group, Relum leverages an extensive network. The focus is not only on serving existing Digitain partners but also on growing its standalone aggregation business. This involves developing "different personalisation schemes" beyond current tournaments, bonuses, and jackpots to enhance customer offerings further.
Ghulyan concluded by outlining the clear advantages of choosing an aggregator like Relum over direct individual integrations. The primary benefit is "time to market," allowing operators to achieve potentially "50 different integrations" through just "one" streamlined, unified API. Furthermore, Relum provides 24/7 support, reduces operational "hassle," and significantly lowers costs associated with integration. He highlighted that aggregators handle established connections, content, processes, and procedures, ultimately making life "a lot easier" for operators by offering the crucial "flexibility to manage their igaming operations in this dynamic world." This enables operators to control their offerings without constantly relying on external parties for every task.
