Dinara Pogodina, Notix.Games: “The most common mistake that I see people making is that they are treating LatAm as a single market.”

During SBC Summit Lisbon 2026, Focus Gaming News sat down with Dinara Pogodina, CEO at Notix.Games, to discuss the company’s ecosystem approach, the lessons of the Brazilian market and the leadership culture she is building.
Pogodina described the event as “amazing” and “very productive”, with “lots of meetings, good conversations and deals”. As someone working in sales and business development, she saw it as “a nice wrap-up of the year”. Asked about Notix.Games’ offering, she explained that the company has “never tried to compete in every vertical” and is instead building an ecosystem: an aggregator at its core, a studio whose games help “increase our margin”, and a platform that, at the time of the interview, was still a relatively new vertical being tested with the market.
On Latin America, she said the “most common mistake” is treating the region “as a single market”, when each country has its own regulation, compliance requirements and player behaviour. The recent events in Brazil, she argued, showed that risk had been underestimated. The question for operators, she said, is no longer “can I enter Brazil?” but “can I build a sustainable business in this country?”, with the right product, scalable technology and a sound margin. She also warned against confusing translation with localisation, stressing that a product built for Europe cannot simply be translated for LatAm and must be able to integrate local payments, CRM and a suitable portfolio.
Pogodina said Notix.Games’ strategy rests on three drivers: speed, reliability and transparency. Operators, she noted, are no longer interested only in large portfolios and want to know how fast content can be monetised, so the company aims to shorten the time between contract signing and going live. Because the casino business runs around the clock, it also commits to responding to issues “at 2:00 a.m.”, and it reports margins and cost calculations openly.
Notix.Games has its head office in Cyprus and operates as a remote-first company, although Pogodina said she tries to bring people together because “it’s a different energy”. Her leadership model is built on accountability and ownership, with team members free to bring ideas and to criticise hers. The company’s core values, she said, are “trust, transparency, and support”.
Asked for advice for women starting out in the sector, Pogodina said there is no need to compete with men or to be afraid to step up for one’s ideas. In her view, women in leadership will reach the ultimate goal when their position stops being seen as remarkable and people simply say “you are the leader because you really deserve it”.
