During SBC Summit Lisbon 2026, Focus Gaming News sat down with Maria Nesterenko, Senior PR Manager at BGaming, Natali Miankouskaya, Senior Event Manager at 1spin4win, and Julia Panina, Brand Manager at Evenbeter, to discuss the industry charity initiative they have joined to support children with cancer and nervous system disorders.
Nesterenko said corporate social responsibility is “quite an important part” of BGaming’s strategy, and that the company was glad to join an initiative led by its partner 1spin4win to help local communities. Miankouskaya explained that 1spin4win had worked on several charity projects with BGaming and wanted to “create something meaningful” of its own. It chose to focus on Kenya, where, she said, survival rates for children with cancer are very low, and decided to build a partnership with other igaming companies.
For Panina, the initiative was “the shortest way” to reach those who need help urgently. “Children who have cancer or nervous system disorders cannot wait,” she said, adding that the burden on families is greatest in the poorest countries. Asked what companies can contribute beyond money, she described gaming as a community-based industry where taking part in such initiatives “could become a habit”, provided someone does the research to find a trusted partner and a transparent framework. She thanked 1spin4win for taking on that responsibility and organising the process.
Miankouskaya said many companies want to help but do not know how, and sometimes do not talk about what they do. Her aim was to raise awareness and make the process simpler for partners by creating a transparent system and handling the organisational work with the foundation. Nesterenko added that the more companies join a social initiative, the more funds can be raised and the greater the impact in the countries where companies operate.
