Shows & conferences - 28 November, 2025
During day two of SiGMA Central Europe 2025, Focus Gaming News caught up with Aneta Khalatyan, Business Development Executive at PopOK Gaming, to discuss the company's recent achievements, strategic growth, and future plans.
The interview began with Focus Gaming News congratulating PopOK Gaming on their recent award for 'best lock game provider', an accolade Khalatyan gratefully acknowledged. Focus Gaming News highlighted the impressive visual appeal of PopOK's offerings, noting "the wonder of your graphics" and "beautiful play". Khalatyan confirmed the company's commitment to human artistry, stating that animators work tirelessly on their titles rather than relying on AI generation.
Khalatyan then introduced some of PopOK’s competitive new products. She spoke of the "Rico family game series", which has gained significant traction, particularly with Brazilian partners, and the recent releases BonBon, a slot game with a "candy world full of surprises", and Tappy Bird, an engaging instant win game. When explaining why operators choose PopOK, she asserted, "we know how to choose the right games" and excel at following market trends to meet demand precisely.
Reflecting on the past year, Khalatyan described 2025 as "very active" and "productive and successful" for PopOK. Key achievements included the successful launch of an AI-powered crash game and a unique partnership with renowned street artist Alec Monopoly. Monopoly’s involvement saw him design PopOK’s live casino studios, giving a "unique look to our games", a collaboration Khalatyan called "the biggest success for us".
Market expansion was another crucial topic. Khalatyan detailed PopOK’s strategic entry into regulated markets, citing Brazil as a prime example where they completed all necessary certifications to become "fully active there". This strategic approach, she explained, is critical for growth, noting, "to develop any market you need to have a certain like strategy". She also announced PopOK Gaming’s certification in South Africa's Northern Cape, further demonstrating their global ambitions.
Emphasising their commitment to clients, Khalatyan firmly stated PopOK Gaming's philosophy: "PopOK Gaming is not just a game provider, we are real partner". This involves supporting operators with engaging games, flexible integration, and organising tournaments, jackpots, and free bets. PopOK also develops seasonal games and creates "exclusive games for our partners, branded games", ensuring operators receive "good games, good service and stronger results".
Looking ahead, Khalatyan promised that 2026 would bring "many updates" from PopOK Gaming. Excitingly, this includes not only continued innovation in the online sector but also the imminent launch of "land-based solutions also slot machines", signalling significant expansion beyond their current offerings.
