During the Bis SiGMA South America event in Brazil, Focus Gaming News had the opportunity to speak with Andre Medeiros, Head of Business Development Brazil at Brazino777. The interview explored the brand’s journey within the Brazilian igaming market, its strategies in a newly regulated environment and its deep connection with local culture. Medeiros, who has worked in the igaming sector for five years, expressed his admiration for Brazino777 since its early days, describing it as a “big, bold, fun and vibrant” brand. He recalled that, even before regulation, Brazino777 had already become one of the biggest brand awareness success stories in Brazil, largely thanks to its famous jingle, which, according to him, “everybody knows and enjoys”. Faced with a newly regulated landscape and intense competition, Medeiros explained how Brazino777 continues to stay ahead of the game. The company’s core strategy is to “keep the pace first with our brand awareness strategy”, while also focusing on “one of the key strengths behind our development and success: being connected to Brazilian DNA”. He stressed that the company aims to “bring happiness, smiles, jokes and entertainment because we believe that’s what our people like”. According to Medeiros, this approach is what “distinguishes us from the others”. Alongside this, Brazino777 continues to invest heavily in “a lot of games and many different options for both casino and sportsbook”. When asked about the energy and vibrancy of the Brazino777 stand at the event, Medeiros explained the origins of this joyful and intense “Brazilian DNA”. He noted that, despite Brazil’s social challenges, there is a cultural “defence mechanism” in place: “we use laughter to survive life”. He added: “We prefer making jokes and laughing rather than becoming bored or grumpy,” a characteristic he believes is one of the reasons Brazilians are often regarded as “wonderful people”. Medeiros also detailed Brazino777’s “new approach” to its sportsbook product. The company is implementing “new technology” aimed at becoming “very, very competitive in terms of odds and other offers for users, especially during the World Cup and afterwards”. The interview highlighted the importance of combining technological innovation with a deep cultural understanding in order to succeed in Brazil’s dynamic igaming market.
