Yahoo Finance ends Polymarket data partnership

The financial platform has discontinued a collaboration that brought prediction market data to its users

U.S.- Yahoo Finance has ended its data partnership with Polymarket, bringing the collaboration to a close less than a year after it began. The companies started working together in November 2025, when Polymarket data was integrated into a dedicated prediction market section on the financial news platform.

The section displayed market-based probabilities for potential economic, political and financial events alongside Yahoo Finance’s regular coverage. The feature was removed in April, and the companies have now confirmed that the wider data agreement has also ended, according to Bloomberg.

Yahoo said Polymarket will remain an advertising partner and indicated that the companies could work together on other projects. Polymarket has not publicly explained why the data partnership was terminated.

Prediction market operators have been seeking distribution through established media companies. In January, Polymarket partnered with Dow Jones to provide prediction market data to consumer platforms including The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, MarketWatch and Investor’s Business Daily. Polymarket has also entered agreements with Major League Baseball and Sportradar.
