Italy.- All casinos, betting shops, gaming arcades and bingo halls must remain closed until March 5<\/strong> as operators lost their appeal against restrictions adopted to combat the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The decision was made by the administrative court in Lazio despite appeals from gaming businesses all over Italy<\/strong> against the measures adopted by the Council of Ministers, and the Customs and Monopoly Agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Italy\u2019s current Covid-19 prevention decree is due to expire on March 5<\/strong>, but some gaming operators fear they may be forced to remain closed even longer. Many complain that the gaming sector is being singled out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
