Denmark is the latest to benefit from it, as the local market grew during the first three months of 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the first quarter, Denmark\u2019s online gaming posted revenue of \u20ac214 million, Danish regulator <strong><em>Spillemyndigheden<\/em><\/strong> reported. It is a 4.5% improvement from the same period in 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sports betting reached a 10.3% growth at \u20ac82.8 million. Mobile gaming accounted for 51.3% of that revenue, down marginally from Q4 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the first quarter, online casino revenue grew 6.5% to \u20ac54.4 million. It was 0.2% higher than the fourth quarter of 2018 and came through computers at 56.2%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Gambling advertising in Denmark<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Spillemyndigheden recently&nbsp;<strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/denmark-bonus-offers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">released a statement and issued a warning to operators<\/a><\/em><\/strong>. The watchdog discussed the use of terms such as \u201cfree\u201d when marketing bonus offers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The regulator assessed that the use of the word \u201cfree\u201d when marketing a bonus offer is misleading if a wagering requirement is attached to the offer.
