Bernstein said in a report earlier today that Macau is the most accessible destination for Chinese tourists to visit casinos, therefore it will remain the key destination. Gaming is the biggest reason why outbound visitors decide to visit Macau.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhilst reasons for visiting Macau may be varied, gaming is the primary reason for the vast majority of visitors. Aside from gaming, other reasons to visit Macau include: dining, sightseeing and shopping \u2013 areas which Macau continues to develop and improve,\u201d said the brokerage, as quoted by AGBrief.<\/p>\n<p>Macau currently hosts more than 20 million visitors from China every year and is expected to grow exponentially that number to 34 million by 2025. Increased hotel capacity and several improvements in the transportation system are some of the drivers of this growth. \u201cThe new supply of hotel rooms and both non-gaming and gaming offerings should drive Macau&#8217;s long-term growth in visitation.
