Workers union sets negotiation dates with Atlantic City casinos
Local 54, the casino workers union has set dates to negotiate with 5 Atlantic City casinos.
US.- Local 54, Atlantic City’s casino workers union has scheduled contract negotiations with casino management at 5 casinos starting next Saturday and continuing next week.
According to a spokesman, workers represented by Unite-Here Local 54, will negotiate Saturday with representatives of Tropicana Atlantic City and will meet next week with representatives of Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort and Caesars Entertainment’s three city resorts.
The union started airing radio ads in South Jersey on Thursday to explain workers’ decision last week to strike if they don’t have new labor contracts by July 1. Local 54 represents about 9,600 bartenders, servers, porters and other hospitality workers of the gaming industry.
