Wilton Rancheria and Sky River Casino contribute $1m for Elk Grove city infrastructure
The contribution is earmarked for next-phase roadway and community improvements.
US.- Wilton Rancheria and Sky River Casino in California have presented a supplemental regional roadway contribution of $1,07m to the City of Elk Grove. The contribution will support transportation and infrastructure projects in the city.
The funds will be allocated to projects such as Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) implementation, preventative roadway maintenance and future capacity project reserves.
Sky River Casino president Michael J. Facenda said: “Working in partnership with the City of Elk Grove, we have a shared and mutually beneficial goal to enhance and uplift the city with much-needed infrastructure improvements to support growth and expansion. We are proud to deliver this supplemental contribution that is an incredible example of how businesses and entities should give back the communities they serve.”
Jesus Tarango, chairman of Wilton Rancheria, commented: “When we built Sky River Casino, our vision extended beyond our own community. We understood the responsibility that comes with growth, and we made a commitment to support the infrastructure that connects and strengthens Elk Grove. We’re honored to work alongside the City to ensure that as our Tribe grows, the entire community benefits.”

The significant funding will help us accelerate projects that directly improve the daily lives of commuters and reinforce our commitment to safe, accessible infrastructure across Elk Grove.”
