William Hill to operate sports book in AC
The UK company has partnered with Ocean Resorts Casino to operate the casino’s sports book.
US.- William Hill has announced a new partnership in the United States with Ocean Resorts Casino, the Atlantic City facility that will open its doors on June 28th. This deal is the first of a number of moves by the UK bookmaker to expand its operations in the newly legalised US sports betting market.
Ocean Resorts Casino will hold its grand opening on June 28th and has decided to partner with William Hill to help operate its US$6 million gaming area. The sportsbook will be located in a 7,500 square foot operating area at the centre of the casino’s gaming floor. New Jersey punters will also have the possibility to enter William Hill’s online and mobile products.
Joe Asher, CEO of William Hill US, said: “We are very excited to be a part of Ocean Resort Casino and to have a presence on the Atlantic City boardwalk. We have had great success working with Ocean’s senior management in Las Vegas and we are excited to have the chance to do so in Atlantic City at what will be the best sports book in town.”
