William Hill releases first virtual racing in Las Vegas
The renowned British sportsbook will operate virtual racing services at two casinos in Las Vegas.
US.- Silver Sevens and the Plaza Hotel & Casino became the first casinos in Las Vegas to provide virtual racing operated by one of the biggest British companies, William Hill, last Friday. Both gambling venues started offering simulated horse races every five minutes.
“We are excited to be the first sportsbook operator to bring virtual racing to Nevada. The addition of virtual racing is just another example of how William Hill prides itself on offering the largest and most innovative betting menu. Being able to have Tom Durkin, horse racing’s best story teller, as our virtual racing voice is ‘absolutely sensational’ in itself,” expressed Joe Asher, chief executive officer of William Hill US.
The Nevada Gaming Commission granted William Hill the license to operate virtual racing services in Las Vegas in early 2015. Players at Silver Sevens and Plaza Hotel & Casino will be able to bet win, place, show, exactas, and trifectas on lineups that range from eight to twelve animated horses. The games feature stunning graphics and the voice of legendary race caller Tom Durkin.
