William Hill has targeted Indiana to open its 143rd US sportsbook at the Tropicana Evansville as it awaits for sports betting legalisation.

US.- The sports betting segment continues to expand in the US and Indiana is one of the next to launch it. That’s why William Hill has announced it will open its 143rd sportsbook in the country at the Tropicana Evansville.

Eldorado Resorts owns the property and wants to capitalise on the industry’s arrival in the state. September is its targeted launch date as it awaits for the approval by the Indiana Gaming Commission.

The sportsbook will feature a 16’ x 9’ ft. video wall, ten 65-inch viewing monitors and 12 odds boards.

“We are excited to continue expanding our relationship with Eldorado Resorts and introducing William Hill to sports fans in Indiana,” commented David Grolman, president of retail operations for William Hill US.

“Tropicana Evansville is a great destination. It’s nestled between Nashville, Louisville and St Louis, and we look forward to serving guests with our 85 years of sports betting experience.”

William Hill will offer Indiana bettors with access to its mobile app, kiosks and InPlay wagering menu. Furthermore, it will hire several positions for the location.

Glenn Carano, senior vice president of operations for the East region at Eldorado Resorts, celebrated the deal. “We are delighted to have William Hill as the official sportsbook operator at Tropicana Evansville. They are a leader in the sports betting industry and bring years of experience with them.

“We have no doubt that William Hill’s industry-leading wagering menu and technology will enhance the guest experience. It is always the priority at all Eldorado Resorts properties across the country.”
