William Hill, looking to make an impact in the US
The British sports betting group is looking for a North American agency to lead its arrival in the national market.
US.- As sports betting continues to expand in the US, world-renowned companies continue to move towards the country. That’s why William Hill Plc is looking to establish itself and get known in North America.
According to CampaignLive, a UK marketing news source, the group has issued a call-to-market for a local agency. They want to lead its brand and marketing development in its US sportsbook property. The company’s governance plans to establish as a market leader in the after-PASPA local industry during 2019.
William Hill US has operated in Nevada for a while but has already expanded through new wagering contracts with Eldorado Resorts Inc and MSG Networks in 2018.
In order to make the most out of the local sports betting market and establish itself as a landmark in the US industry, William Hill US plans to task a creative agency with the job. It is the first major move recently appointed Chief Marketing Officer Sharron Otterman will take.
The former media executive for major networks such as ESPN or NBC joined the company back in July and was put in charge of establishing the company’s strategies for media planning, developing brand awareness and agency management amid a disrupted US gambling landscape.
