William Hill and FanDuel launch operations in NJ

The companies launched their mobile sports betting services in New Jersey on Saturday night.

US.- William Hill and FanDuel officially launched their mobile sports betting operations in New Jersey on Saturday. The companies started a trial period after receiving authorisation to run a five-day testing period by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE).

William Hill US, the American affiliate of the giant British bookmaker, already runs sports books in Atlantic City’s Ocean Resort Casino and the Monmouth Park Racetrack in Oceanport, while FanDuel operates the sports book at the Meadowlands Racetrack in East Rutherford.

These two new launches bring the total number of companies offering such services in the state to five. The other operators approved by the DGE to offer their services are Borgata casino, DraftKings, which partners with Resorts casino, and PlaySugarHouse.com.
