West Virginia online casino revenue dips in April
After posting an increase each month since debuting in July, online casino in West Virginia saw a dip in revenue in April to $3.8m.
US.- For the first time since the segment went live last July, online casino revenue in West Virginia fell month-on-month in April.
Last month, the segment generated $3.8m in revenue, down by $150,000 (4 per cent) from March’s figures. It still brought in around $800,000 weekly, with two weeks bringing in more than $1m. The last week had the highest revenue at $1.1m.
Wagers were also down, with online casinos taking a $115m handle, down US$8m from March.
BetMGM Casino WV led the way in revenue with over US$1.9m, while DraftKings Casino WV generated $1.7m. The latter had the highest handle, with $60m, beating BetMGM by US$8m.
