US.- Wendover Resorts announced this week that it will sell the Wendover Nugget Hotel and Casino and the Red Garter Hotel and Casino in Nevada to a new company that represents a group of investors led by Justin Beltram and Eric Persson through their 888Gaming.

The transaction will also include the sale of a bus company called Utah Trailways, which helps customers from Salt Lake City and neighboring territories get to casinos in Wendover. The Nugget casino currently has 489 hotel rooms and 1057 gaming positions, whilst Red Garter features 183 rooms and 652 gaming positions.

Eric Persson, president and COO of Aruze Gaming America, said: “I intend to work closely with Aruze to bring their market leading technologies to the resorts. Everyone knows Aruze has great slot and electronic table products, RFID table game chips and the Omni-Table.” The two locations being sold had been acquired by Wendover in 2002 (Nugget) and 2010 (Red Garter).
