Vegas casino faces foreclosure
The Lucky Dragon casino-hotel is facing a foreclosure auction next February 6 as the official notice was filed last week.
US.- Clark County documents showed that the Asian-themed Lucky Dragon casino-hotel in Las Vegas is scheduled for forclosure auction next February 6. After just over a year since its openning in 2016, the venue filed papers last week as its gaming room and restaurants were closed days before.
However, its operator announced that the hotel, gift shop and tea lounge will remain open as the property undergoes a repositioning process. Said procedure will take up to six months and, once its over, the casino and restaurants will probably re-open.
The venue’s theme was designed to attract Chinese gamblers but failed to do so as investors were also from China. However, it remains uncertain if whoever ends up buying the project will keep the Asian-look or if it will revamp the property as results couldn’t meet expectations under the current appearance.
