The Colorado casino revealed its first exterior upgrade.
US.- Ute Mountain Casino unveiled the first phase of its US$5.5 million remodeling. Gary Hayes, Apprentice General Manager of the venue, said that they needed to do everything they could to stay competitive and attract new players.
The Towaoc casino that opened in 1992 revealed last week during an event the first exterior upgrade that features a new surround LED lighting and signage, as well as a new main casino entrance. They also decided to change the color scheme of the facility, and picked earth colors to make it look more local and attract visitors from the area as well as foreign players. Member of the tribal council DeAnne Wall, said that the tribal community along with the employees and the state, are very proud of the new changes. “We are striving together for prosperity and have a vision for our people,” she added.
Representatives from the facility also said that the project has been funded thanks to loans that were issued to a Ute Mountain fund that was exclusively destined for economic development. The process took almost four months, and the next stage includes plans to expand the guest rooms along with the gaming zone.
