UKGC is reviewing Smart TV Broadcasting license
The UK Gambling Commission has issued an interim suspension of online gambling license for Smart TV Broadcasting.
UK.- The UK Gambling Commission announced that all 7 gaming websites operated by Smart TV are to be suspended.
According to the UKGC’s released statement the reason for the interim suspension of No 000-002715-R-103240-011 Combined Remote Operating Licence and 002715-N-104517-010 General Betting Standard Operating Licence held by Smart TV Broadcasting Limited is in effect until further a review takes place. In addition, UKGC ordered the operator to return all positive balances to players and to settle all outstanding winning debts.
Smart TV Broadcasting hasn’t yet commented on the UKGC’s findings. The company’s gaming websites have been active in the online gambling community since 2007 and has been accused for no payment and slow payment by numerous players in the past.
Regarding players UKGC stated: “We are aware that there are currently customers who have outstanding balances in their accounts with the operator. Regrettably, at this point we have no further information on the position of customer funds.”
