UAE.- Wynn Resorts <\/strong>invested US$114.6m in its Al Marjan Island <\/strong>integrated resort during the first quarter of 2026, according to the company’s latest financial filing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The investment, covering the three months ended March 31, included US$100.1m in cash contributions to the joint venture, with the remainder comprising project-related costs. Wynn said construction activity continued to progress during the quarter, with the resort on track for its planned 2027 opening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Wynn Al Marjan Island is being developed in partnership with Marjan<\/strong> and RAK Hospitality Holding <\/strong>in Ras Al Khaimah. The US$5.1bn development is expected to become the UAE’s first integrated resort with gaming facilities, featuring hotel accommodation, entertainment venues, restaurants, retail and meeting space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Q1 investment update came alongside Wynn’s first-quarter 2026 financial results, which showed group operating revenues of approximately US$1.7bn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In related news, Wynn Resorts<\/strong> has not announced any change to the opening schedule of its Al Marjan Island resort in Ras Al Khaimah, the company told Focus Gaming News.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The statement came in response to a report by Bloomberg, published on May 5, which suggested Wynn was weighing a delay to the project due to the conflict in the region.
