Manuela Croci, chief of supervision and financial crime prevention at the UAE regulator, has joined the IAGR Board of Trustees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
The International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR)<\/strong> has appointed Manuela Croci<\/strong>, chief of supervision and financial crime prevention at the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA)<\/strong>, to its Board of Trustees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Croci brings more than 20 years of experience in financial services audit, supervision and financial crime prevention to the international regulatory body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ben Haden<\/strong>, IAGR president, said: “Manuela\u2019s appointment strengthens the Board\u2019s depth of expertise at a time when financial crime compliance is an increasingly important focus for regulators worldwide. We are delighted to have her.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n Croci said: “As the commercial gaming industry continues to evolve, collaboration across regulators has never been more critical particularly in strengthening enforcement, combating illegal online gaming and ensuring consistent standards across jurisdictions.<\/p>\n\n\n “Honoured to be joining the Board of Trustees of the IAGR and to contribute to this important global dialogue. I look forward to working alongside fellow regulators to share knowledge, strengthen frameworks and support the development of safe and well-regulated commercial gaming markets.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n In a LinkedIn post, the GCGRA said: “We are pleased to see Manuela Croci (PhD, MSc) joining the International Association of Gaming Regulators Board of Trustees. Her appointment reflects the growing importance of strong, collaborative oversight in supporting safe, well-regulated commercial gaming markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “At the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority we remain committed to working closely with international partners to advance responsible gaming, strengthen regulatory frameworks, and address shared challenges including illegal online gaming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “We look forward to continued engagement with peers across the global regulatory community.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n The IAGR CEO is Kevin Mullally<\/strong>, who was the CEO of the GCGRA but stepped down from his role last November for personal reasons. The regulator\u2019s chairman, Jim Murren<\/strong>, assumed the role of interim CEO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\r\n\t\t
