Two recent<\/span>\u00a0UAE Lottery winners<\/strong> have said they will use their prizes to support education and vulnerable communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ananth Perumalsamy<\/strong>, a Dubai resident from Tamil Nadu, India, won AED1m (US$272,000) and plans to help students unable to afford further education in his hometown. Ahmed Kabeer<\/strong>, also from India, said he will split his winnings to aid people in need, orphanages and business growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is not the first time UAE Lottery winners have given away their prizes. Last October, Anilkumar Bolla, an expatriate from India living in Abu Dhabi, won the AED100m (US$27m) grand prize and said he intended to contribute to charitable causes<\/strong> in India following his life-changing win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since its launch, the UAE Lottery has awarded more than AED165m (US$44.9m) in prizes, delivering life-changing wins for players while also enabling many recipients to support families, charities and communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lottery\u2019s Lucky Day draw takes place weekly on Saturdays, offering a grand prize of AED30m (US$8.17m), a AED5m second prize (US$1.36m), and three AED100,000 winners (US$27,200) through the Lucky Chance draw.<\/p>\n\n\n
