UAE Lottery records thousands of winners in revamped Lucky Day draw

The flagship weekly draw awarded prizes to 8,299 players in a recent game, with format changes delivering more frequent winning opportunities across multiple prize tiers.

The UAE Lottery is reporting strong participation three months after the Lucky Day draw game was revamped last December, with one recent draw alone awarding prizes to 8,299 players.

The update replaced the previous biweekly Dh100m (€25m) jackpot format with a weekly draw featuring a Dh30m (€7.5m) top prize and a boosted Dh5m (€1.25m) second prize, creating more frequent winning opportunities for players. Draws are now held every Saturday evening, replacing the previous biweekly Friday schedule.

Khaleej Times reported that the draw, which awarded prizes to 8,299 players, highlights the scale of participation in the weekly game. The results included several Dh100,000 (€25,000) winners, while 87 players secured Dh1,000 (€250) prizes and thousands more won Dh100 (€25).

The flagship draw launched on December 14, 2024, as the main game of the UAE’s newly regulated national lottery platform. The platform also offers additional number-based games, including Pick 3 and Pick 4, as part of a broader digital lottery portfolio.
