Games Global secures gaming‑related vendor licence

The igaming supplier has been allowed to provide digital content to licensed operators in the United Arab Emirates.

Games Global, an igaming content supplier, has secured a gaming-related vendor licence in the United Arab Emirates, as regulators continue to expand the country’s tightly controlled commercial gaming framework.

The licence, issued by the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA), enables the company to supply online casino content to licensed operators in the market, according to a report by Gaming Intelligence. This allows the company to provide its digital gaming portfolio to approved operators without offering gambling services directly to players.

Games Global is listed as GG UAE Limited on the GCGRA’s official register of gaming-related vendor licensees, reinforcing the approval through the regulator’s own public records. The listing places the supplier among a growing number of international companies securing early access to the UAE’s developing commercial gaming market.

The approval places Games Global within one of the newest regulated gaming markets in the region, where authorities are building a tightly controlled commercial framework through phased licensing and limited operator participation. Unlike operator licences, vendor approvals focus on content, technology and infrastructure providers that support the wider market rather than run consumer-facing platforms.

Several international suppliers have already secured similar approvals, signalling growing competition for early positioning in the market. The approach reflects a deliberate effort by regulators to establish a controlled ecosystem before expanding operator participation, ensuring that the market’s supply chain is fully licensed and compliant from the outset.

The UAE is still in the early stages of establishing a regulated commercial gaming market under the oversight of the GCGRA. The framework has already seen limited licences issued across lottery, land-based gaming and internet gaming, while supplier approvals continue to increase.

The latest approval underscores the pace at which the UAE is assembling its supplier network, as global providers position early ahead of wider market expansion.
