Tropicana Atlantic City to open new gaming space
The casino has announced the opening of Gridiron Pit.
US.- Tropicana Atlantic City in New Jersey has announced the launch of Gridiron Pit. The new space, which combines live sports viewing and table games, is set to open on September 4.
Located on the casino floor near the Caesars Sportsbook, the area will transform a section of the casino floor into a fan zone with live game viewing, table games and food and beverage offerings. The opening will coincide with the Philadelphia Eagles’ opening home game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Joseph Giunta, senior vice president and general manager at Tropicana Atlantic City, said: “Gridiron Pit blends the best of both worlds for our guests—nonstop football excitement and the unmatched energy of live table games. We’re redefining what game day means in Atlantic City with this one-of-a-kind space for fans, whether you’re here for the action, the camaraderie or the game-day bites.”
In May, Tropicana Atlantic City announced the new Solana Tower with updated rooms and suites in the resort’s west wing. The project is expected to debut in early 2026.
