Tioga Downs opens NY sportsbook with FanDuel

The sportsbook opening at Tioga Downs in Nichols marked the first retail launch for FanDuel in New York State.

US.- Tioga Downs Casino Resort in Nichols opened on Friday its sportsbook. The opening marked the first one for FanDuel in New York State. Tioga Downs’ sports betting retail location is one of four upstate New York casinos allowed to offer sports betting in the state of New York.

The FanDuel Sportsbook features eight betting windows, 27 video displays including a large video wall. It also includes 14 self-service betting kiosks, three sports tickers, 12 lounge seats and seven high tables. Moreover, it offers two drink rails, and seating for more than 50 customers. The FanDuel Sportsbook allows bets on all major US sports, including professional baseball, soccer, football, basketball, golf, boxing and more.

FanDuel’s fourth retail operation

The FanDuel Sportsbook at Tioga Downs Casino Resort marks FanDuel Group’s fourth retail operation. The company opened the first-ever FanDuel Sportsbook located at New Meadowlands Racetrack last July. A location at The Greenbrier in West Virginia followed along with one at the Valley Forge Casino Resort in Pennsylvania.
