Press release.- The Playa, a provider of AI-powered personalisation solutions, has launched VIP Intelligence, the first standalone product in the igaming industry built specifically for VIP management. It helps operators run their VIP programme end to end, from spotting future VIPs to keeping existing ones engaged.
VIPs drive a large share of an operator’s revenue, yet the teams who manage them have never had tools built for the job. In September, The Playa released The State of VIP Operations, a survey of 70 VIP professionals, 64 per cent of whom work directly for operators. None of them used an AI or automation tool as their main system. Instead, VIP teams rely on spreadsheets and BI dashboards, and 71 per cent work with data spread across disconnected systems. The Playa built VIP Intelligence together with VIP managers to close that gap, so the product fits how VIP teams actually work.
Viktoriia Grygorenko, CEO at The Playa, said: “VIP management is the most valuable function in igaming, and every VIP found late or lost without warning is revenue an operator never gets back. VIP Intelligence is built to prevent that. It shows which players have VIP potential from day one, which VIPs are starting to drift, and the right next step for each one. It doesn’t replace a manager’s judgement. It works like a navigation system, showing who needs attention today and the best route to take.”
Teams start by setting up their VIP programme in the product: tiers, thresholds and each manager’s portfolio. VIP Intelligence then supports both VIP functions: Onboarding, to develop future VIPs, and VIP Account Management, to keep existing ones engaged:
- High-Value Player Detection. 74 per cent of VIP managers rely on deposit history to understand a new VIP. The product reads a player’s earliest behaviour, reveals VIP potential within the first 24 hours, and puts high-potential players forward for manual or automated outreach.
- Behaviour Profiling. Only 21 per cent of VIP managers have a behavioural profile of a player when they join their portfolio. Behaviour Profiling shows how each new player engages, so teams can choose the right approach from the start.
- Player Health Score. 48 per cent of VIP professionals have no indication of a VIP’s behavioural signals or health. Player Health Score tracks each VIP against their own play pattern and flags those who are pulling back or overplaying.
- Early Churn Detection. 46 per cent of VIP professionals say their VIPs often go inactive without warning. The product predicts which VIPs are likely to churn, so managers can step in before a player goes quiet.
- Prioritised Actions. A manager with 250 players has roughly 100 seconds per player, per day. Prioritised Actions ranks every portfolio daily by who needs attention first, from onboarding candidates to existing VIPs, and recommends the right next step for each player.
