The Pechanga Resort Casino has announced it will loosen mask requirements and reopen most of its slots machines.

US.- Pechanga Resort Casino, the largest casino in California, has announced it is easing Covid-19 countermeasures. It will drop its mask requirement for all guests and staff who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

Unvaccinated guests will still be asked to wear masks indoors, following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the state government recommendations.

The Pechanga Resort Casino added that staff members who provide proof of completed vaccination to the Pechanga Human Resources Department will receive a $100 gift card.

The casino’s move comes after other US tribal casinos relaxed mask mandates. In May, the use of masks was made optional at all of the Cherokee Nation and Seminole Indian Tribe of Florida’s gaming venues.
