The Greenbrier launched mobile sports betting

The West Virginia casino resort The Greenbrier launched on Monday morning the state’s first mobile sports betting app.

US.- The Greenbrier has launched the first mobile sports betting app in West Virginia. The FanDuel powered sportsbook kicked off on Monday at 6 am and bettors are now able to cash out in person at The Greenbrier as well.

West Virginia became last year the fifth state in the US to legalise and regulate sports betting. It was also the third in the country to legalise online sports betting. Locals can legally bet on football, basketball, soccer, tennis and hockey, among other sports.

“With a robust pregame and in-play offering, as well as a decent streaming service, FanDuel is set to secure a large chunk of the West Virginia online betting market,” says the FanDuel website. The operator is the first online sports betting app in the state, but Hollywood Casino at Charles Town has a scheduled launch of DraftKings Sportsbook.

As part of the launch, the casino said that West Virginia gamblers are also able to make deposits and cash out in person at The Greenbrier Casino as well.
