Tennessee sports betting handle increases in June

The gross sports betting handle increased by 30 per cent year-over-year.

US.- The Tennessee Sports Wagering Council (SWC) has reported that the state’s gross sports betting handle came in at $456.1m in June. That’s an increase of 30 per cent year-over-year and 3 per cent from May 2026.

After $4.4m worth of adjustments, gross wagers totalled $460.5m, up from $446.2m in May. Privilege tax was $8.4m. The council did not provide a breakdown by operator or sport, nor operator revenues.

The Tennessee Education Lottery recently announced that its president and CEO Rebecca Paul will retire at the end of the year. She has served in the role since the lottery’s foundation 23 years ago.
