Tiger Palace Resort is near its opening

Nepal currently operates only three licensed casinos.

Nepal.-  Silver Heritage Group published that its Tiger Palace Resort in Bhairahawa city of Nepal will be soft launched by February 2017. The luxury entertainment venue is one of the most expected five-star hotel for the Asian tourism industry. Visitors will enjoy a 26,597 square feet casino floor featuring 200 slots as well as 52 gaming tables.

The Asian operator revealed that the first phase of the construction of the 100-room Tiger Palace Resort is almost finished; the foundations are set, whilst the five-star property’s interior walls, columns and roof are “75 percent complete.” The Tiger Palace will include 400 hotel rooms in total. The initial inversion of Silver Heritage was of US$40 million.

The report released by the company also states that the first phase of construction will set a pool and spa service as well as wedding, tennis and gym facilities alongside a conference hall, meeting rooms, shops and six food and beverage outlets. Monday’s filing said Tiger Palace Resort, Bhairahawa was the third stage in what Silver Heritage termed its “India-facing strategy”. The first stage was the opening in 2013 of the Millionaire’s Club, Dhangadhi, in Nepal, with three gaming tables and 20 gaming machines and access to the on-site Devotee Hotel and its 41 rooms; and the second stage was the launch in 2015 of the Millionaire’s Club and Casino, Kathmandu, in Nepal’s capital, with 22 tables and 38 gaming machines, and access to 120 rooms at the on-site Shangri-La Hotel.
