Presque Isle Downs sees revenue increase

The Pennsylvania facility saw slot machine revenue rise by 11.5 per cent in March.

US.- According to numbers from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB), Presque Isle Downs & Casino experienced a slot machine revenue increase during last month’s operations. The casino posted a double-digit increase when compared to the same period in 2017.

The gambling facility reported gross revenue from slot machines of US$10.6 million in March, up from the US$9.5 million total in March 2017. The 11.5 per cent increase is the second highest increase among Pennsylvania’s 12 casinos.

Valley Forge Casino Resort saw gross revenue from slot machines rise by 13.6 per cent. On the other hand, Lady Luck Casino Nemacolin, in Farmington, and Mount Airy Casino Resort, in Mt. Pocono, experienced declines during last month’s operations.

Statewide, slots revenue was up 5.4 per cent in March to US$221 million, higher than the US$209 million totalled during last year’s operations.
