Sweden’s iGaming body welcomes operators

GVC and Hero have signed as new members of the Swedish iGaming operator body.

Sweden.- The Swedish industry association Branschföreningen för onlinespel (BOS) has welcomed GVC Holdings and Hero Gaming as the last operators to sign up as members. The membership covers all gaming brands owned by them.

With the two new additions, BOS now has more than 20 members in total. The companies join a list that features William Hill, Kindred, Paddy Power Betfair and Betsson, among others. As the membership covers all gaming brands owned by GVC and Hero, PartyPoker and PartyCasino, Casino Heroes, Speedy Casino and Speedy Bet brands will also be members.

Gustaf Hoffsted, secretary general of BOS, said: “BOS’ ambition is to gather the best online gaming companies on the Swedish gaming market; Hero Gaming and GVC had no difficulty claiming their place among these operators.

“Through the diverse range of companies we represent – we have over 20 online gaming companies in the association – and the experience of our members, we want to take the lead to ensure the Swedish licensing system will be a success.”
