Suncity and Paradise may work together in Busan

Junket operator Suncity Group signed a memorandum of understanding with Paradise to work together in the latter’s Busan casino.

South Korea.- Suncity Group, the Hong Kong-listed junket, is set to work together with Korean operator Paradise. Both companies have signed a memorandum of understanding on a possible cooperation in Paradise’s Busan casino.

Paradise Casino Busan is located at the Paradise Hotel Busan by Haeundae Beach and may soon see Suncity joining the business.

“The company has been focusing on expanding its tourism related businesses and the board believes that should the possible cooperation materialise, it can enable both parties to form a synergy and develop its own strengths, resources and expertise,” the junket operator said.

There has been no further details disclosed about the deal, but the memorandum is not legally binding, so companies may decide to alter how they will cooperate with each other.

During the fourth quarter, Paradise Casino Busan contributed with €156.6 million to the company’s revenue, which may soon improve through Suncity Group’s contribution.
