Suncity Group parnters Cambodian project

The Hong Kong-listed company will offer consultancy and management services to a casino resorts development in Cambodia.

Cambodia.- Suncity Group Holdings Ltd has announced the signing of an agreement to offer consultancy and management services to a casino resort development in Cambodia. The group’s Suncity Group Management and Consultancy Ltd and Cambodia-registered Golden Sun Sky Entertainment Co Ltd, entered a “strategic partnership framework agreement” last Wednesday.

The casino resort will be located at Otres Beach, in the city of Sihanoukville, and close to the Vietnamese island of Phu Quoc, home to several integrated resorts and upcoming developments. It will include a casino, hotels, restaurants, shops and convention space and will be developed through an estimated investment of €310 million and will likely open by the end of 2019.

Suncity Management Consultancy will help Golden Sun Sky through advice and management services that it will provide for the casino resort project. It will also cooperate on further projects to explore new markets. Despite explaining the deal’s details on a Wednesday filing, the fees it would be entitled have not been revealed.

Golden Sun Sky, was established in March 2017 and it’s part of the investment group China Yunnan Jingcheng Group Co Ltd.
