Flutter’s Dublin headquarters has officially reopened after a €15.5m refurb.

Ireland.- Flutter Entertainment Plc has marked the official inauguration of its revamped Dublin headquarters after a €15.5m refurbishment.

The gaming giant, which owns Paddy Power, Sky Bet, PokerStars and Betfair, contracted Claremont Group Interiors to create a state-of-the-art premise for a growing international workforce.

The designers aimed to create a “frictionless workspace” for 1,700 staff working in sports trading, technology, product development and innovation, marketing, HR, and customer operations.

The office has stairs linking through its seven stories and overlooking an indoor sports pitch on the ground floor, creating the feeling of movement.

Flutter said the offices had been revamped following the highest environmental standards and with accessibility features for a healthier working environment. Sustainability features include LED lighting,  Intuitive A-rated air conditioning and a cascading water heating system.

The building also features a Market X convenience store, Ireland’s first fully frictionless shop with AI technology allowing “grab and go” shopping.

Pádraig Ó Ríordáin, chief legal officer and group commercial director, said: “Our new look global headquarters in Dublin encapsulates Flutter’s vision for the future of work. We have made a significant investment in this modern, agile, and flexible workspace, and are excited for our colleagues based here to experience all it has to offer.”

Earlier this week, Flutter-owned bookmaker Paddy Power announced plans to update more than 40 of its retail betting shops in the UK and Ireland with digital displays provided by BoscaSports.

Meanwhile, Flutter has urged the British Gambling Commission to put the National Lottery licence in British hands – or at least in those of a British-listed company – by granting it to Italy’s Sisal, which Flutter is in the process of acquiring.
