Casino 36 starts construction in Dudley

The company Casino 36 has started the construction process of its upcoming facility in Dudley, UK.

UK.- Casino 36 held a groundbreaking ceremony over the weekend at the site of its upcoming casino in Dudley, UK. The €14 million project is expected to take approximately a year and will be open around the summer of 2020.

As detailed by company authorities, the casino will employ more than 100 people. The building will feature a casino and a bar on the first floor, while the entertainment venue will be located on the ground floor, Express and Star reported. Casino 36 runs casinos in Wolverhampton, Stockport and Temple Street.

Adrian Ballard, Casino 36 director, explained that the company wanted to invest in Dudley as part of the City Council’s commitment to regenerate the town centre. “Dudley has, in my eye, always been a leading market town. The plans to move the area forward are admirable, and something I am keen to be involved in,” he said. “I feel the opportunities our new site will provide will complement these plans and be an additional vehicle to bring much-needed tourism back to the borough.

“We are determined to provide something that the area is lacking, and are focused on providing new facilities in a friendly and safe environment where people can relax in an exciting and fresh new setting.”

Corin Crane, the chief executive of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce, added: “Casino 36 is a great local success story and their expansion into Dudley comes after substantial investment into their casino in Wolverhampton.”
