New Hampshire Gov. praises sports betting
The governor of New Hampshire has revealed that in its first month, sports betting bets net US$15.8 million.
US.- New Hampshire is one of the latest states in the US to kick off its sports betting operations. Governor Chris Sununu has praised the modality’s performance as the state net US$15.8 million in sports betting wagers in just one month.
In a social media post, the governor highlighted sports betting’s performance in its first month of activity. He said that the state perceived over 750k wagers since its launch on December 30, 2019.
“Despite our beloved New England @Patriots not making it to the Super Bowl this year, sports betting is BOOMING in NH! Since launching less than a month ago, more than $15.8 MILLION has been wagered with 27,000 unique users and over 750,000 wagers. Big WIN for NH education!,” Sununu said on Twitter.
The state lottery reported that more than 6k people registered to bet on sports in the first day and wagered over US$250k. A lot of the people that registered came from Massachusetts.
INTRALOT extended contract in New Hampshire
INTRALOT recently signed a contract extension to provide its Sports Betting solutions to the New Hampshire Lottery Commission. INTRALOT offers sports betting at over 1,300 existing lottery retailers in the state.
